I'm White.
Now What?

Facilitated conversations to help white people show up better

There are good reasons that white people don't often talk about whiteness and race

Race can be tricky for white folks. We might feel unsure about how to interact with people of color, or we feel guilty or afraid of being labeled as racist. And even though our white organizations want to be more diverse, we often don’t know how to make a real difference.

No matter what our specific concerns are, it can be tough to stay involved in the conversation. Many of us just avoid the topic altogether. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be this way. I offer a fresh approach to examining whiteness that encourages reflection and growth without relying on guilt or shame.

MY APPROACH

We look at the stories of being white that have shaped who we are

Stories are like our personal maps that shape who we are. They help us make sense of life, including what it means to be white. The stories we tell and live by have a big impact on our choices and actions.

Many white people struggle to figure out the stories that shape their identity or even wonder if they have a story of race. Some white folks aren't happy with the stories of race they know and how they live out their racial identity. For most white people, race is something that's often left unexamined and its impact unrealized.

But the good news is that it’s always possible to tell and live a different story. We can rewrite our stories, redefine our identities, and remake our relationships. That’s what we do here at HelloWhiteness.

Starting the conversation about race can be tough, but I’m here to support you. Through a story-based approach, I guide you in unpacking your racial identity based on your unique life experiences.

In our video-based sessions, we’ll create a safe, judgment-free space that encourages deep reflection and personal growth. Together, we’ll challenge you to explore your beliefs and behaviors in a way that helps you align more fully with your values and intentions, empowering you to live them out more authentically.

Workshops & Presentations

Achieve together

Conversations about race, especially whiteness, can be frustrating for mission-based or faith-based communities trying to engage meaningfully.

I work with groups navigating this challenge by designing structured, facilitated discussions and customized workshops that explore individual and team dynamics around whiteness and race. The goal is to cultivate practices of accountability and responsibility, helping teams build an empathic, compassionate culture that supports everyone in living out their shared values.
